Overview

The Training & Development program has a track record of alternative flexible delivery of instruction that includes evening courses, weekend schedules, and Internet delivery. Those alternatives not only meet learners' needs - but also model the way organizations are increasingly producing flexible just-in-time training.

In the T&D Online program, courses are offered using a learning management system called Blackboard Vista. This system provides a "virtual classroom" space for each course. In this online space, students can interact with professors and classmates using a variety of Web-based learning tools such as discussion boards, chat rooms, and quizzing. Materials are delivered to students via Web-pages and various multimedia formats including streaming audio/video, DVDs, podcasts, and Elluminate sessions).
