1. Submit an Intent to Enroll Form

In order for the program to anticipate demand and plan for adequate resources, we are requesting that persons interested in enrolling submit an "Intention to Enroll" form. Filing the form does not commit the person to apply and is not required to be admitted into the program. However, those students filing the form and who meet minimum admissions requirements will be given priority in admissions decisions. Please complete the online form.

2. Submit Materials for Graduate School

As a part of the application process, applicants collect information about their academic professional experiences and submit it to the university. You will need to prepare the following materials for the Graduate School:

3. Submit Materials for Department

In addition, the Department of Adult and Community College Education requires your attention to the following materials:

  • Three reference letters and forms

  • A summary of proposed program goals and future outcomes

  • Resume

Note: Foreign students residing in other countries (NOT in the USA) wishing to register for Distance Education courses at NC State University DO NOT need OISSS clearance. NCSU will accept a letter from the student, indicating that he or she will be participating and completing the DE courses while residing in their home country.
